Wellness from Within

If you have been following me you know that I am a big fan of Ixcela, the makers of the Internal Fitness Test. I am excited to partner with them as part of my health coaching programs. I have used the test myself, along with the supplements myself, and can already feel and see a difference in my health and appearance.

The Internal Fitness Test is a simple blood sample you can take at home to determine the health of the gut microbiome and its potential effects on your overall systems and health.

Why a blood sample and not a stool sample, which is a more common practice? Quite simply, a stool sample tells you the type of bacteria in the gut (actually what bacteria has exited the gut), which gives you an incomplete picture.

The blood sample measures the efficacy of the bacteria to work efficiently together in the gut at a molecular level. The Internal Fitness Test pinpoints the imbalances in the molecules that affect not only your gastrointestinal health, but also your immunity, cognitive ability, emotional stability and even how efficiently you are transform energy from the foods you eat.

As a wellness coach, this type of information is incredibly valuable because it helps me zero in on these imbalances quickly, and evaluate this along with your health history, to get a more accurate picture of what is going on, to help you take the necessary steps towards your optimal wellness, more quickly. In fact, I have a 90-day plan to make this happen.

I help you create a healthy balance through nutrition education, fitness activities and mindfulness techniques, which are the cornerstones of my practice for the last five years. This just enhances everything and takes the level of service up a notch. Yay for you!

Additionally, when the initial test is taken and imbalances are revealed, you also get supplements to correct the disparity, as part of the testing. These supplements are not the ordinary “garden-variety” kind and are part of the Internal Fitness Test, at no additional cost. These customized supplements and probiotics are specific to what your test uncovers, and includes such things as melatonin,L- tryptophan, selenium, and inulin to name a few.

These are custom formulated with the appropriate dosage for your test profile, and are FDA registered, GMP compliant, vegetarian and are not tested on any animals. Further, they are FREE of gluten, wheat, soy, yeast, corn, eggs, nuts, fish, GMO, artificial colors, sugar, preservatives, crustacean shellfish, dairy or lactose, artificial sweeteners (https://help.ixcela.com/whats-in-the-ixcela-supplements).

I have been taking mine for a few weeks now along with a whole food diet focused on fiber rich foods, and reducing my caffeine intake. I have always struggled with getting enough water so I am increasing that as well. Yes, health coaches have the same issues as you do!

Some of you have been on walks with me in our beautiful county parks, so you know I love getting out there and moving. Did you know I also walk to and from work each day, along with my lunch break, and this insures I get my 10,000 steps in. I know it is an arbitrary number designated by some Japanese marketer to sell more pedometers back in the 1960’s but we sure have latched on to this as a measure of movement, haven’t we?

Additionally, I am working out with free weights two times a week to maintain muscle and strength, and do other activities to maintain strength, flexibility, stamina and balance. I would love to share this with you, as I do all the folks I work with.

As you can see, I am quite the fan and consider this to be a real game-changer, not only with our gut health, but our overall wellness. And that is why I am so happy to offer this now, and through tomorrow at a 10% discount (using Martin10 when ordering).

I know this is a lot of information to digest (forgive the pun), so reach out to me if you have questions. And if you are ready to take the next steps, just go here:
